Mission

After each of the resurrection appearances of Christ, and at His Ascension, He sent the apostles and disciples on mission, to tell the world about Him. We are not meant to sit in contemplative love of Jesus alone. We are meant to take that love to evangelize the world. Even hermits and solitaries are called to this, for by their prayers and example, they, too, evangelize.
