Non-Catholic Christian groups are good at letting their youngsters know that they are God's Kids. We adults need to recognize that as our relationship to God, too. We are kids who don't know nearly as much as Daddy does. We are kids who are not nearly as powerful as Daddy is. We are kids who don't know what is really good for us, but Daddy does. Humility about who we are causes us to turn to our Daddy, our heavenly Father, for guidance and support to whom we owe our profoundest gratitude.
